Lullaby (poem)

A lullaby is only sung,
To make you feel secure.
But once the sound is gone,
you don't anymore.

Why do people think,
They make you feel at home.
When all they really do,
Is make you feel alone.

A lullaby is a song,
To make you fall asleep.
It takes you shortly away,
of the secrets you keep.

For all the secrets they don't know,
you want to tell so bad.
But could you, would you, should you,
When you don't know what to expect?
